Nordstrom shoes and accessories are a little more expensive than a lot of folks might like, especially with tough economic times, but generally they are pretty much worth the money.
Especially if you can find a sale. Nordstrom, after all, carries some of the highest quality designer brands out there.
It can be really difficult to make the decision to purchase designer accessories, and it's no different when you're looking at Nordstrom.
Shoes, purses, sunglasses and other accessories aren't really necessities, and it can be pretty easily argued that you can get by with something pretty utilitarian and cheap.
But a lot of people take pride in having nice things and sometimes getting a really great investment piece ends up paying for itself with the amount you use it.
Brands
There are tons and tons of great brands in the Nordstrom shoes section. While there are many types of shoes - from athletic and sneakers to boots, sandals, pumps and flat collections - it's the brand names that really shine.
The women's Nordstrom shoes section is every woman's dream. There are Jimmy Choo, Tory Burch, Burberry, Valentino and more.
Sales
Sales can be your best friend when you are shopping in the Nordstrom shoes section. Since most of the designer brands cost hundreds of dollars, any savings are worth waiting for.
Most of the time, waiting for sales means that you are risking the shoes you like best not being available anymore, but if you save half the cost it can be worth it. Especially if they are shoes you won't be able to wear regularly.
End of Season
Sales of Nordstrom shoes and accessories generally happen at the end of a season, so you won't be getting the newest, hottest shoes, but if they are just a beautiful design, you'll still get plenty of use out of them.
If you end up buying sandals in the fall, you might have to wait a while to wear them, though. Or else you'll have to plan a tropical winter vacation just to be able to wear them.
True Love
If you truly love a pair of shoes or a purse and you know that you are going to get good wear out of them, go ahead and buy it. As long as it's an investment you know you can live with, it will be totally worth it.
Nordstrom shoes and accessories are almost always worth whatever money you spend on them.
If you are going to buy an expensive purse, though, you should try to go for a more classic, simple style instead of something trendy. It will last longer.
